It's What Eddie Did The Life Of My Stories

I am an independent New Zealand author.

I publish and sell my own books at markets and on-line as well as through Amazon and Kindle.

I was born in Auckland, New Zealand, in 1945. After a career in the advertising business I began freelance writing in 1983 and have been a self-employed writer ever since.

Gradually I reduced my commercial writing to dedicate myself to my own writing, preferring to write and publish my own work which is mostly (but not only) about New Zealand and New Zealanders.

My wife and I have travelled extensively throughout New Zealand, Australia, Britain (where we lived and worked), Europe, Asia and Japan, as well as the United States (where I worked in advertising).

I love all good writing from all eras. My other interests lie firmly in the arts: art, music, opera, ballet and the theatre. I enjoy playing the saxophone, bass guitar and the ukulele.

My wife and I live in Greenlane, Auckland.

I welcome comments and feedback and am happy to speak about my books to schools, book clubs, libraries and writing groups within a convenient reach of Auckland.

I also welcome comments and feedback. Feel free to email me at robert@bolton.co.nz or you can call or text me on +64 21 057 2452
